Originally hailing from the Pacific Northwest, I have called Korea home for many years. I am a regular contributor to National Geographic Traveller UK, and my award-winning work has appeared in publications such as The Telegraph, CNN Travel, Condé Nast Traveler, Fodor's, Asia Times, and many others. I am also the author of two books: Dispatches from the Peninsula and The Worst Motorcycle in Laos, published by Signal 8 Press.
I live in the city of Busan with my wife and a houseful of animals.
